BDCOM's S2500-C series is a new generation of intelligent switches designed for operators' IP MAN and enterprise networks. Based on the new generation of high-performance hardware and BDROS platform, it supports functions such as ACL, QinQ and QoS. Its simple management mode and flexible installation can meet the requirements of any complicated scenario.
The BDCOM S2500-C series has 2 models: S2510-C and S2528-C.
The 2500-C series supports:
Carrier-grade Ethernet ring protection protocol with sub-50 ms recovery time, STP/RSTP/MSTP, backup uplink ports and LACP link aggregation to meet carriers' high reliability requirements;
It also has powerful ACL functions to access and control L2-L7 data on a physical port basis, providing carriers with flexible and varied policy control methods;
Supports in-service software upgrade (ISSU) to ensure uninterrupted data forwarding during system upgrade;
Y Supports various L2 multicast functions, such as IGMP-snooping, fast-leave and MVR, to fully meet the operator's IPTV operation requirements.
Complete IPv6 solutions
The S2500-C series supports IPv6 protocol suite, IPv6 neighbor discovery, ICMPv6 and route MTU discovery.
It also supports Ping, Traceroute, Telnet, SSH and ACL on IPv6 basis, meeting IPv6 network equipment management and service control requirements;
Enhanced QoS
The S2500-C series supports priority retagging and complicated flow classification based on VLAN, MAC, source address, destination address, IP or priority, allowing for better rationalization of carrier services.
Provides flexible bandwidth control policies, supporting port-based or flow-based flow limiting, ensuring line-rate forwarding of each port.
The S2500-C series supports multiple queue scheduling algorithms, such as SP, WRR and "SP + WRR".
