24 Port 2 SFP+ Cloud Router Switch
This is the upgraded RouterOS version of CSS326-24G-2S+RM, the CRS326-24G-2S+RM. It is a 24-port Gigabit Ethernet SwOS/RouterOS switch with two SFP+ ports, featuring wired connectivity with several new switching features.
It has an additional CPU unit that allows customers to run the full RouterOS operating system on this device. The CPU offers limited processing power, but it is sufficient to run some of the much-needed RouterOS features that ordinary smart switches simply do not have.
It has the "Dual boot" feature that allows you to choose which operating system you prefer to use, RouterOS or SwOS. If you prefer to have a simplified operating system with more switch specific features, use SwOS. If you are used to Winbox and would like the ability to use routing and other Layer 3 features on some ports of your CRS, start and use RouterOS. You can select the desired operating system from RouterOS, from SwOS, or from the RouterBOOT loader configuration.
It gives you all the basic functionality for a managed switch, plus more: manage port-to-port forwarding, apply MAC filtering, configure VLANs, mirror traffic, apply bandwidth limiting and even adjust some MAC and IP header fields. The SFP cage supports 1.25 Gb SFP and 10 Gb SFP+ modules.
