The 5 Gigabit compatible TP-DC-1256GD-BTs are very high power DC to DC converters / PoE injectors designed for the latest 802.3bt PoE standard.

The unique PoE injector delivers 56V DC Class 8 802.3bt PoE power over the 8 Ethernet cables (4 pairs). They support data throughput rates up to 5 Gigabit. They are backward compatible with 802.3at devices. 

The wide input voltage range (10 VDC to 60 VDC) makes these units universal in battery powered applications. The input/output of the units are isolated to operate in a negative ground or positive ground system. They have a locking DC cable terminal connector with two DC inputs for connecting 2 power supplies, such as a main power supply and a backup power supply. They have various protections for undervoltage, overvoltage, short circuit and overload. The units have a metal housing and come complete with a DIN rail mounting kit for mounting on a standard DIN rail.
