The airFiber AF-5XHD is designed for long-range point-to-point (PTP) links and large capacity, it is the first Ubiquiti team that has LTU technology.
The AF-5XHD offers a spectral efficiency of 21.2 bps/Hz with a channel width of up to 100 MHz, covers the band 4.8 GHz - 6.2 GHz (subject to country regulations) and includes DFS approval.
It offers a real performance of more than 1Gbps being able to process more than 2 million packets per second with a range of more than 100 kilometers.
The AF-5XHD is compatible with Ubiquiti airFiber X or RocketDish antennas for a complete point-to-point solution.
Supported by the UNMS application that can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play, it provides instant accessibility to the airOS interface that allows you to configure and manage the AF-5XHD once it is connected.
An optional IP67 upgrade kit (model AF-X-IP67) is available separately to provide greater protection against dust and water.

Deployment flexibility
The AF-5XHD can be used with the AirFiber Slant 45 antennas to improve noise immunity and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and is also compatible with multiple Ubiquiti AirFiber X antennas that offer a gain of 23 to 34 dBi.
- AF-5G23-S45.- The AirFiber X antenna AF-5G23-S45 is specially designed with a polarity of 45 ° inclination for a perfect integration with the AF-5XHD. In combination with the AF-5XHD, the AF-5G23-S45 offers 23 dBi of gain of a 378 mm diameter dish.
- AF-5G30-S45.- The AirFiber X antenna AF-5G30-S45 is specially designed with a polarity of 45 ° inclination for a perfect integration with the AF-5XHD. In combination with the AF-5XHD, the AF-5G30-S45 offers 30 dBi gain of a 650 mm diameter dish.
- AF-5G34-S45.- The AirFiber X antenna AF-5G34-S45 is specially designed with a polarity of 45 ° inclination for a perfect integration with the AF-5XHD. In combination with the AF-5XHD, the AF-5G34-S45 offers 34 dBi of gain of a 1050 mm diameter dish.

Optimal Operation in Unlicensed Bands
Channel width flexibility allows you to independently configure TX and RX channel frequencies and place them anywhere within the radio band to avoid local interference. You also have the ability to program different uplink and downlink duty cycles to support asymmetric traffic requirements.
