    The Ubiquiti Networks ETH-SP Ethernet Surge Protector is used for protection from harmful electrostatic discharge and surges of Ethernet devices installed outdoors. Installation of the ETH-SP with Airmax devices provides an additional layer of protection to the network. The ETH-SP surge protector is designed to protect Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) or non-PoE devices with connection speeds up to 1 Gb/s. It features 2 passive surge-protected RJ45 connections for maximum equipment compatibility.
