The HPE Networking Instant On AP22D access point is a Wi-Fi 6 certified SMB access point that offers reliable wired and wireless connectivity through a 2.5 GbE uplink port with a very small footprint. This access point can reduce device clutter while providing power to downlink devices such as IP phones or receipt printers with 2 x 15 W PoE (802.3af) and supports more than 75 wireless devices via Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax with an aggregate wireless throughput of 1.7 Gbps.

Higher data rates
The 1024 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (1024-QAM) enables a 25% increase over 256 QAM, improving performance to ensure high Quality of Service (QoS) and the 2.5 GbE uplink port doubles the bandwidth capacity over previous 1 GbE ports.
