Each PoE port powers up to 15W over a very short distance. The power delivered over a longer distance (up to 100m) is 12.95W. Typical devices that need less than 12.95 W are:

• IP Phones with small screen or without screen

• Wireless 802.11n or 2x2 wireless 802.11ac access points for indoor use

• Simple IP cameras

PoE+/802.3at

Each PoE+ port powers up to 30W (2 pairs) or 60W (4 pairs) over a very short distance. The power delivered over a longer distance (up to 100m) is 25.5W or 51W (4 pairs). Typical devices are:

• IP phones with large screen, videophones, conferencing systems

• Up to 4x4 802.11ac wireless access points (WiFi 5) or 2x2 802.11ax (WiFi 6)

• Pan-Tilt-Zoom HD IP cameras without heaters

PoE++/802.3bt

Each PoE++ port powers up to 60W (2 pairs) or 90W (4 pairs) over a very short distance. The power delivered over a longer distance (up to 100m) is 51W (2 pairs) or 71W (4 pairs). Typical devices are:

• Conference systems with a large screen

• Up to 4x4 802.11ax access points (WiFi 6)

• HD PTZ IP cameras with heaters

• AV over IP encoders/decoders

• Ceiling panels with LED lighting
