Milesight UG56-L04EU-868M - Gateway Industrial LoRaWAN®
UG56 is a high-performance 8-channel LoRaWAN® gateway offering reliable connectivity for industrial applications.
Penetrating obstructions from start to finish
Penetrate three floors up and down the building and cover a radius of up to 2 km in urban areas and 15 km in rural areas.
Towards massive connectivity for IoT deployments
By adopting the Semtech SX1302 LoRa chip, UG56 supports connection to more than 2000 LoRaWAN® nodes.
Coverage and location optimization at the same time
The compact size allows the UG56 to be integrated into a small equipment cabinet. Users can install the magnetic antenna or fiberglass antenna (optional) in a signal optimized location to cover more areas.
Entry fleet
The Gateway Fleet feature allows multiple agent gateways to transmit incoming data to a controller gateway, facilitating the deployment and management of the LoRaWAN® network.
Listen before you speak
UG56 supports Listen Before Talk, making it possible for multiple devices to share the same channel, reducing channel conflict and improving the overall transmission environment.
Enabling multiple backhaul connectivities
Stay connected via Ethernet, cellular and Wi-Fi.
Supporting multiple network servers
In addition to the integrated network server, UG56 also supports multiple network server platforms such as TTN, ChirpStack, Everynet, Senet, etc.
Integration with the building management system through BACnet
With support for BACnet/IP, real-time data can be seamlessly integrated into the existing building management system (BMS).
BACnet over LoRaWAN:
LoRaWAN® serves as the data channel for control applications. No changes to the BACnet protocol, network or BACnet-enabled devices and management systems are required.
LoRaWAN® as a complementary network:
The LoRaWAN® network is independent of the central BACnet infrastructure. The LoRaWAN® network feeds data to the BMS through a virtual BACnet server. LoRaWAN® data and sensors appear to be part of the BACnet system.
