Ubiquiti UniFi AC In-Wall
UniFi 802.11 ac dual band access point and PoE passthrough
The UniFi AC wall-mounted AP transforms an Ethernet wall connection into a dual-band 802.11AC Wi-Fi access point. It features two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which offers PoE for powering and connecting an 802.3af device to the network. The UniFi AC In-Wall AP offers 2x2 and dual-band simultaneous MIMO technology. We recommend powering the UniFi AC In-Wall AP with UniFi's PoE switches, as PoE adapters are not included in the one-unit and five-unit bundles.
Scalable enterprise Wi-Fi management
UniFi® is the revolutionary Wi-Fi system that combines enterprise performance, unlimited scalability and a central management controller. UniFi 802.11AC dual-radio access points (APs) have a refined industrial design and can be easily installed using the included mounting hardware.
Easily accessible through any standard web browser, the UniFi Controller software is powerful software ideal for high-density client deployments requiring low latency and high throughput.
Use the UniFi Controller software to quickly set up and manage an enterprise Wi-Fi network, without the need for special training. Tools such as RF mapping and performance features, real-time status, automatic UAP device detection and advanced security options are seamlessly integrated.
Save money and save time Unlike traditional enterprise Wi-Fi systems that use a hardware driver, UniFi comes with a non-dedicated software driver that can be deployed on a PC, Mac or Linux machine on-premise; in a private cloud; or using a public cloud service.
Powerful hardware
The UniFi 802.11AC Dual Radio Aps feature the latest in 802.11AC MIMO Wi-Fi technology.
Intuitive UniFi Controlle Software
Configure and manage your access points with the easy-to-learn user interface.
Unlimited scalability
Build wireless networks as large or small as needed. Start with one (or upgrade to a three-pack) and expand to thousands while maintaining a single unified management system.
Expand your coverage
With UniFi Controller software running in a NOC or in the cloud, administrators can manage multiple sites: multiple distributed and multi-tenancy deployments for managed service providers. Below are some deployment examples.
PoE not included, compatible with Unifi POE+ 802.3at switches.
Main characteristics:
- (8) Gigabit RJ45 ports
- (1) PoE Passthrough
- Non-blocking throughput: 8 Gbps
- Capacity 16 Gbps
- Retransmission rate: 11.9 Mpps
- Maximum consumption: 12W
UniFi Controller
Designed for ease of use, the UniFi Controller software can be configured to manage UniFi switches, as well as other UniFi devices, using a graphical user interface. You can download it from www.ubnt.com free of charge.
Multi-site management
With a single UniFi Controller stay, multiple UniFi installations can be managed centrally. Logically, each location is separate and has its own network management, configuration, maps, statistics and administrator accounts.
Scorecard
The dashboard tab provides a visual representation of the status of the networks. You see the basic information for each of the networks.
Switch configuration
You can access and manage each of the connected switches and configure them with a variety of features.
- Different operating modes per port (Switching, aggregate, mirror)
- VLAN configuration
- Jumbo Frames traffic and control services
- Network functions
- Broadcast storm control per port
- Spanning tree configuration
- 802.1x control and RADIUS VLAN management
- Console control option
Switch port states
You can see the different statuses and information of each port.
- Connection speed and duplex mode
- Tx/Rx ratio
- Network/VLAN options
Statistics
The "Switch Statistics" screen shows an overview of traffic for each port on the selected switch. The same screen also displays LAN, WAN, Internet traffic, including a breakdown of the protocols used (requires a UniFi Security Gateway).
