Sopto - SPT-P13TG-LR - Transceiver SFP+ 1310nm 10G 10km LC interface with DDM
Sopto - SPT-P13TG-LR - Transceptor SFP+ 1310nm 10G 10km interfaz LC con DDM.
This 1310 nm DFB 10G SFP+ transceiver is designed to transmit and receive optical data over single-mode optical fiber for a link length of 10 km.
The electrical interface of the SFP+ LR module complies with SFI electrical specifications. The transmitter input and receiver output impedance is 100 ohms differential. The data lines are internally AC coupled. The module provides differential termination and reduces differential to common mode conversion for quality signal termination and low EMI. SFI typically operates with more than 200 mm of enhanced FR4 material or up to approximately 150 mm of standard FR4 with a connector.
In the transmit direction, the SFP+ transceiver module receives a 10.3125 Gb/s (signaling rate) electrical signal from the Asic/SerDes main board and converts the data into an optical signal via the laser driver that controls the laser diode in the secondary optical transmitter. -Assembly (TOSA). A transmission disable (Tx_Dis) compatible with Open Collector is provided. A logic "1" or no connection on this pin will disable laser transmission. A logic "0" on this pin provides normal operation. The transmitter has an internal automatic power control (APC) circuit to ensure constant optical power output over all temperature and supply voltage variations. An open collector compatible transmission fault (TFault) is provided. TX_Fault is the module output contact that, when high, indicates that the module transmitter has detected a fault condition related to laser operation or safety. The TX_Fault output contact is an open drain/collector and should be brought close to Vcc_Host on the host with a resistance in the range of 4.7 to 10 kΩ. TX_Disable is an input contact of the module. When TX_Disable is asserted high or left open, the transmitter output of the SFP+ module will be turned off. This contact will go high to VccT with a resistance of 4.7 kΩ to 10 kΩ.
The receiver converts 10 Gbit/s serial optical data to PECL/CML serial electrical data. An open collector compatible signal loss is provided. Rx_LOS when high indicates an optical signal level below that specified in the relevant standard. The Rx_LOS contact is a drain/open collector output and should be brought close to Vcc_Host on the host with a resistor in the range of 4.7 to 10 kΩ or with an active termination. It is recommended to filter the power supply for both transmitter and receiver. The Rx_LOS signal is intended to be a preliminary indication to the system in which the SFP+ is installed that the received signal strength is below the specified range. Such an indication normally points to uninstalled cables, broken cables, or a disabled, faulty or turned off transmitter at the far end of the cable.
The third functional capability of the SFP+ module is the 2-wire serial interface, I2C. I2C is used for serial identification, digital diagnostics and module control functions. The enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface allows real-time access to the device, allowing monitoring of received optical power, laser bias current, laser optical output power, etc.
